Digital PCR

Droplet Digital PCR (or ddPCR) is a technology that provides ultra-sensitive and absolute quantification of nucleic acids. It is, among other things, useful for targets present in small quantities, targets embedded in complex backgrounds and SNPs detection.

Benefits of Droplet Digital PCR

  • Absolute quantification.
  • Highest precision and sensitivity.
  • High throughput.
  • Removal of PCR efficiency bias.

Starting material

Blood, cells, fresh, frozen or FFPE tissue, bone marrow, DNA, RNA, liquid biopsies, circulating cell-free DNA, …

Applications

We can design, validate and implement a wide range of ddPCR tests, for many applications including:

  • Detection of rare sequences in cancer and genetic disease
  • Mutation detection in liquid biopsies (cfDNA).
  • Accurate Copy Number Variations quantification.
  • Monitoring of cancer (before, during and after treatment).

Equipment

We utilize a QX200 AutoDG Droplet Digital PCR System.
